Tomorrow, April 8th, our Stowe Community Church will be open to visitors from 9:00 to 2:00pm. If you are able to make cookies for our visitors that would be great.  Or if you can spend an hour helping out that would be wonderful.  There are sign up sheets in the church narthex.

"There Goes the Sun" - Concert for the Eclipse: After the eclipse tomorrow, April 8, come celebrate the evening with the Vermont Brookside Band in concert in our sanctuary at 7 pm.  Local favorites Bruce Bell, Jesse Goldfine, Roger Murphy and Frank Springer will be sharing their talents on guitars and mandolin, playing and singing acoustic folk and Americana. This concert is open to the public at no charge, although donations will be gratefully received. For more information, email

You are invited to join our new “Green Team” at Stowe Community Church.

This team will help discern where our congregation currently stands in our lived commitment to care for creation and where we are called to act in the future. Seeking your participation and input, we invite you to learn more and get involved in one of the following ways:

1. Composting program

2. Recycling program

3. Community gardens

4. Eco-friendly lifestyle

5. Nature activities

6. Climate change activism

If you are interested in these areas, please contact Pastor Dan Haugh. The next meeting will be held online on April 15th at 5:30 pm

We will celebrate “Earth Day Sunday” on April 21 during our 9:30 am worship service.
